About
Dallas County Conservation 40-acre park half a mile northeast of Dawson, with oak and hickory timber along the North Raccoon River, hiking, access to the Raccoon River Valley Trail, and a boat ramp. 15 sites: 10 with electrical hookups, 5 primitive. Seasonal modern restrooms and showerhouse (May-October). Nature trails, handicap-accessible playground. Available year-round; check-in 4pm, check-out 3pm.
