About
City of Mackay tourist park in the Lost River valley, under the Lost River Range. Camping is bookable through the city's own reservation link, seven days a week. There is no dump station here; the rest area about half a mile away has free dumping and fresh water. The city does not publish a site count. Older listings describing this as free camping are out of date - the city now charges. The city's season runs from Memorial Day to 30 September.
