About
US Forest Service campground. This very rustic, primitive camp is located near Rock Creek and the route of the Historic Summit Trail. The small campground offers seven camp sites interspersed with aspen and surrounded by a mixed conifer forest, which provides shade during summer months. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
