About
Point Lookout State Park, at the confluence of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, sits on the site of a Civil War POW camp and includes a historic lighthouse. 90 wooded campsites: 60 non-electric, 4 electric-only, and 26 full electric/water/sewer sites in the self-contained-only Tulip Loop (no restrooms in that specific loop, per the park's own page - self-contained campers only). Maximum 6 people per site except site 128. Reservable through the Maryland Park Service's own ReserveAmerica/Aspira contract, hosted at parkreservations.maryland.gov (not a reserveamerica.com subdomain, though it runs the same underlying platform - confirmed live, "Powered by Aspira").
Fees
Campsite Non-Electric $21.50-$37.50/night, Campsite Electric $34.50-$54.50/night, Campsite Electric/Water/Sewer (Tulip Loop, self-contained campers only, no restrooms in-loop) $39.50-$40.50/night. Displayed rates are the vendor's own published BASE rates and do NOT reflect holiday/weekend/residency surcharges or a pet fee (Maryland applies these as add-ons rather than publishing a separate resident/non-resident base rate the way some other states do). Leashed pets allowed in the Tulip, Conoy, and Hoffman's loops of the campground.
