About
This secluded, rustic campground sits on the shores of Little and Big Leverentz Lakes. The campground is split into two sections, with sites 1-11 on Big Leverentz Lake and sites 12-18 on Little Leverentz Lake. There is access to the Sheep Ranch Pathway from both campgrounds, as well as excellent fishing opportunities. The campground also has a boat launch.
The campground is in Lake County, 2.7 miles east of Baldwin via US-10 and Forest Drive. All sites will accommodate tents and small trailers, but some sites can accommodate 30-foot trailers/vehicles.
18 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Baldwin Field Office (231-745-9465).
