About
Ausable Point sits directly on Lake Champlain near Peru, with 119 individual campsites plus a group site and a natural sand swimming beach. No electric hookups are offered, but the campground has a shower building, restrooms, and a trailer dump station. Back-in sites suit rigs up to roughly 30-35 feet depending on location. Pets are allowed with proof of rabies vaccination but must stay on a 6-foot leash and out of the beach and day-use areas.
Fees
Standard NY state park camping rates apply: about $17/night for a standard site, plus a one-time $7.25 reservation fee. Out-of-state visitors pay an additional $5/night; waterfront sites add $6/night. Confirm current pricing before booking.
