About
Hamlin Beach State Park stretches along the south shore of Lake Ontario in Hamlin, with a mile of sandy beach. The campground offers 258 campsites across six loops, many with 30-amp or 50-amp electric hookup, plus showers, ADA-accessible restrooms, a dump station, and group camping sites. Pets are only allowed in Loops A, B, and C (sites 1-137) and are prohibited in Loops D, E, and F; a 6-foot leash and 2-pet limit apply where permitted. The park is open mid-May through mid-October, with some loops closing earlier in September.
Fees
Standard sites run about $17 per night plus a $7.25 reservation fee. Many sites offer 30-amp or 50-amp electric hookup for an extra $7-$9 per night; there are no full water/sewer hookups (public water spigots are provided instead). Out-of-state campers pay an additional $5 per night.
