South Bass Island State Park's campground offers 111 sites in all, including 10 full-hookup and 48 electric-only. 4 cabins, 1 group camping site are also available. South Bass Island (Put-in-Bay) is a Lake Erie island reachable only by ferry or private boat/plane - there's no bridge or causeway.

Ohio State Parks says many campgrounds are open year-round, some close for winter on dates that vary, most reduce sites and amenities November through March, and every stay needs a reservation. Reservations run April 1 to October 31 on reserveohio.com. South Bass Island State Park Campground offers Electric , Full-service, and Primitive sites from May through mid-October. Reservations are required. Sites may be reserved from May 1 thru mid-October. Campers must have reservation (no walk-in sites).
